January 2022 — May 2022
Mathematical modeling of the launch conditions needed to place small-scale satellites into orbit.
MATLABWolfram MathematicaMathematical ModelingData Analysis

I investigated the launch parameters required to place small-scale satellites into orbit, applying mathematical modeling and data analysis to study how velocity, angle, and initial conditions affect orbital trajectories.
The project was developed in MATLAB and Wolfram Mathematica and was presented at the 2022 Western Kentucky University Data Science Half Day and the 2023 Western Kentucky Mathematics Symposium.
Highlights
- Modeled the relationship between launch parameters and orbital trajectories.
- Presented at regional data science and mathematics symposia.
